Head of the Institute of Art Theory and History at the Strzemiński Academy of Art Łódź.

1992-97 study at the Department of Art History, University of Łódź. 1998-2004 PhD study at the Faculty of Historic and Social Science, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, doctoral thesis under the guidance of Prof. Zbigniew Bania. 1999-2001 lecturer at the Department of Art History, University of Łódź and the Institute of Architecture and Urban Design, Technical University of Łódź. Since 2009 lecturer at the Strzemiński Academy of Art Łódź – history of art, history of modern art, history of printmaking. 2009 scholarship of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing and Harbin. Science Council Secretary at the Institute of World Art Studies, Vice-President of its Łódź Office. Member of the Art Historians Society and the Ancient Hue and Weapon Society.

Currently researching on the issue of cultural relations between Far East (China, Japan) and Europe or United States in the 19th and 20th centuries. Participant of numerous scientific conferences in Poland and abroad. Articles in Polish, English, Russian and Chinese (translated). Several stays in Asia (mainly Far East), travels through North and South America, Africa and Oceania. Guest lectures at the University of Tartu (Estonia) and the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca (Romania).

Author of two books on architecture of residences of Polish aristocracy. 
Constructor of polymer clay architectural models.
